Uniline Fall Protection Systems
Uniline’s fall protection systems allow users to access areas that would other wise be considered dangerous. Systems include the Award Winning Uniline Synthetic Cable System, Uni-8 Stainless Steel Cable System and Uniline Roofsafe™ and UniRail™ Aluminium Rail Systems and EasyClimber Vertical Fall Protection System. All systems offer the capability of hands free use and complete freedom of movement through ingenious and patented travelling attachment devices. The user or users are able to access all areas of the system without the need to detach at any time. All Uniline System designs are simulated using Uniline for Windows™ Software to ensure they are safe for use within the parameters of the buildings design.
EasyClimber Vertical Fall protection System – EN353-1
The EasyClimber Fall Arrest System, incorporating the patented Monkey attachment device is specifically designed to suit vertical and inclined ladder access requirements where ease of access and minimisation of fall distance are paramount.
The system is constructed from a 316 (1 x 19) stainless steel cable, which passes through intermediate cable supports at regular intervals. The cable supports prevent the cable from oscillating in the wind and thereby reduce the potential for cable damage. Cable supports can be positioned at up to 10m centres, depending upon the height of the structure. At the top of the system is a termination anchor and energy absorbing element and at the bottom of the structure is a termination anchor incorporating a tensioning unit. The system can support up to 3 workers climbing simultaneously. Users are able to attach to the system at any point using the Monkey and are able to climb the structure in complete safety, by-passing the cable supports when they come in to contact with them. In the event of a fall the Monkey locks on to the cable immediately arresting the workers fall in a very short distance. The cable and components are made of 316 stainless steel and all fabricated parts are electro-polished providing excellent long- term corrosion resistance. Top and bottom anchors can also be supplied in a galvanised steel finish and clamps for fitting to ladder rungs and stringers are available. Other fixing methods can be accommodated with prior design consultation. Please consult Uniline at an early stage in the design process.
