Training
It is a requirement of HS (G) 33 Health & Safety in Roof Work 1998 that “adequate information, instruction, training and supervision should be given when a fall arrest system is used.” Fall protection solutions of cause provide high quality handover documentation. This will not prevent an employee feeling totally lost when presented with a harness, rope & grab and attachment device for the first time. Without adequate training may well be more liable to trip over it as opposed to gaining any safety benefit!
That is why Fall Protection Solutions provide training for the end user. The training will include an overview of Health and Safety Legislation but also contain a strong emphasis on the practical. A certificate will be issued on completion of the training.
